My Purdy Thirty Interview with Mister John

Today, May 4th is an AWESOME day! First off it is "May the 4th be with you" day...and we are big Star Wars fans.

According to Wikipedia:
"May 4 is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate Star Wars culture and honor the films.[2]

May 4 is called Star Wars Day because of the popularity of a common pun spoken on this day. Since the phrase "May the Force be with you" is a famous quote often spoken in the Star Wars films, fans commonly say "May the fourth be with you" on this day."

Secondly IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! And it is not just another 'ol boring birthday...no ladies and gentlmen it is my "purdy thirty" birthday. Goodbye twenties...bring it on thirties!!! My sweet husband has volunteered to write my blog today (awwwwweeees from the crowd), but I thought it would be fun to have a few of my facebook fans ask him questions. And let me tell you...they are GREAT questions!

I had to chuckle because everyone was so prim and proper and kept saying "Mister John:....." Soon to find out they didn't want to say "Dear John"...cracked me up!

So now I will turn the computer over to my husband...

Mister John: IF YOU HAD TO PICK SOMETHING TO LIVE WITHOUT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

HMMMMMM.....very deep question. I would pick .......hmmmmm....hold on I'm still thinking. WOW AND this is my first question. I would have to choose to live without ........SHOE LACES!!. YES I COULD LIVE WITHOUT SHOE LACES....And probably eye boogers. Especially the hard stabby ones. And allergies, I am a clogged snotface at the moment.

HOW DO YOU AND YOUR WIFE COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER ARTISTICALLY?

I nod in agreeance to whatever she creates......but also we have a great way of bouncing ideas off each other. And I will sketch out a creature or character that I think she could use and then she creates around that creation. We are a dynamic duo.....Im peanut butter she is jelly, I am chili she is the fries and the Bean Machine (aka Bane, aka Bubble head, aka Poops McGee) is the cheese. Have to have cheese for chili cheese fries.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO FIND INSPIRATION?

I would be a gorilla with wings.....I would want to fly and drop "gorilla bombs". Yeah thats in your head now. Your welcome!

Amy would be an octopus, because she is going in 100 million different directions at once at all times. And that is an exact number.

Mister John... IF YOU HAD TO PLACE A CUSTM ORDER WITH MISS AMY, WHAT WOULD YOU ASK HER TO CREATE, AND WHY?

I have placed about 14 custom orders for a Chewbacca pillow or a Darth Vader or a Boba Fett or a R2D2 or a Yoda. I have pulled 14 of my own teeth and still...zip, zero, nada. I think its because I refuse to pay for shipping.....or my toothlessness creeps her out. Not sure which.

AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT AMY'S LIKE WITHOUT FABRIC IN ONE HAND AND THE COMPUTER IN THE OTHER?

ME too. Hey! We should ask her.

WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU GUYS LIKE TO DO?

We have been known to rock out to some Rock band.....
...ON GUITAR, BASS, AND LEAD VOCALS, DADDY JOHN BOB! AND ON DRUMS AND VOCALS, AMY MAMMOTH! I BRING YOU 7 BLIND PIGS!!!

And we march around the house and run around the house with the young'ns.

We are home bodies and enjoy just going outside and playing. Oh and we love us some OutBack. Bloomin Onions RULE!!
